Lee Ferreira
Lee Ferreira joined Ferring Canada as General Manager in September 2017.
Lee has close to 30 years experience in the Pharma-Biotech Industry. In fact, it was Ferring Canada that gave Lee her first opportunity into the industry in early 1990 when she joined the company as a Clinical Research Associate following the completion of her post graduate degree. She has certainly come full circle and is incredibly proud to be leading the team here in Canada.
Prior to Ferring, Lee held the role of President and CEO of LEO Pharma and CEO of Medical Futures, as well as various roles with Sanofi-Genzyme, Roche and Solvay Pharma. She has had enormous opportunities to broaden her level of expertise and develop as a senior leader in various areas including Clinical Research, Market Access, Marketing, Sales and Business Unit Management. Her therapeutic areas of knowledge include fertility and woman’s health, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, nephrology and dermatology.
Lee holds a Master of Science degree in Anatomy Physiology and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Sumintra Singh
Sumintra Singh joined Ferring Canada as Financing Planning Manager in 2003 and is now Senior Director Finance, Logistics and IT.
Sumintra has expertise as a financial business partner to deliver analysis, execution and bottom-line results. She is accountable for all aspects of the company financial reporting and is a strategic business partner to the management team and operational business units. She worked in both the pharmaceutical industry and the consumer goods industry.
Sumintra Singh is a CPA, CGA and holds H.B. Com from Laurentian University.
Sue Elliott
Sue Elliott’s journey with Ferring Canada began in January 2019, and over the past four years, she has exhibited dedication and leadership through progressive roles within the Medical Affairs Team. On August 1, 2023, Sue was appointed Medical Director.
Sue is a key contributor to forging strong strategic external stakeholder relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, patient associations, and clinical investigators.
Prior to Ferring, Sue played a vital role as the Scientific Development Manager at Grifols Canada Inc. and before Grifols, co- founded Virtus Insights Inc., where she provided strategic management services for small-to-medium-sized organizations, with a focus on early-stage commercialization and life science ventures.
Sue's impressive educational background includes an MBA from Queen's University with a specialization in Marketing and Financing of New Ventures. She also holds a PhD in Gastrointestinal Sciences from the University of Calgary and has completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in GI Immunology at the University of Virginia and the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Mark Thompson
Mark Thompson joined Ferring on August 8, 2023 as Business Unit Director for Reproductive Medicine and Maternal Health. Mark brings a diverse professional background and a 20-year history of exceeding expectations in progressive roles in the pharmaceutical industry. His experience is well rounded in the areas of sales and sales leadership, marketing, market access, and learning and development. A strong strategic thinker who “thrives in ambiguity and loves the challenge of working in complex, competitive environments.” Mark is a creator of performance driven cultures that support getting the best out of people and the teams he works with. Mark joins us from Takeda where he was the National Sales Director for Neuroscience. In 2020 he won the Takeda Excellence Award for outstanding leadership and performance. Previous to Takeda, Mark worked at AstraZeneca in a variety of positions including Senior Marketing Manager, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Senior Manager, External Relations, Senior Manager, Private & Public Payers and Area Business Manager. He has an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from Queen’s University and has completed numerous Executive Development programs through various schools of business including Kellogg, McGill, Ivey, DeGroote and Rotman.

Lucas Schmid
Lucas Schmid was appointed HR Director at Ferring Canada in January 2024.
Lucas' journey with Ferring started in 2014 when he joined the Ferring Swiss Manufacturing Plant located in St.Prex, Switzerland. In 2017, Lucas moved to the HR position for the Headquarters where he continued to develop a vast experience in HR with strong global interactions across geographies and stakeholders. He transferred to Canada from his role as Director, HRBP HQ and Ferring Ventures, in which he has delivered an active partnership to HQ leaders and certain global functions, providing advice and support to leaders in organizational development and HR management. Prior to his time at Ferring, Lucas built his track record in local HR operations in international and pharmaceutical companies.
Lucas brings to Canada a combination of skills in strategic HR management, talent management, employee relations, change and stakeholder management. In his new role, Lucas will advise the leadership team about HR strategies and management, to continue Canada’s ongoing journey enabling talent and organizational development in the market.
Rob White
Rob White has been appointed Director of Market Access and Pricing for Ferring Canada on July 2, 2024. As of September 1st, 2024, Rob has also taken the leadership of Business Intelligence and Sales Operations.
Rob brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in market access, payer negotiations, strategic pricing, finance, supply chain and operations from his tenure at GlaxoSmithKline.
At GlaxoSmithKline, Rob held pivotal roles as Director of Market Access & Payer Strategy and Director of Pricing and Payer Strategy, where he demonstrated leadership in securing access and reimbursement for various portfolios. He successfully led negotiations with national payers, resulting in favorable pricing terms and accelerated timelines for product contracts. His track record of exceeding expectations, optimizing pricing strategies, and driving performance will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success at Ferring.
Rob is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.
Archana Malik
Archana Malik joined Ferring Canada as Business Unit Director, Specialty on November 12, 2024.
Archana brings 25+ years of experience across pharmaceuticals and medical devices, with an impressive track record in leading product launches and driving growth.
Her achievements include multiple product launches in various therapeutic areas with the most recent being in the rare disease space. Archana’s business acumen is equally noteworthy having experience with full P&L accountability, leading strategy and execution, and in developing DTC, DTP and B2B initiatives including leveraging digital marketing strategies to accelerate customer engagement. Her ability to manage operational complexities positions her well to drive the Specialty business forward.
A proven leader, Archana has built high-performance teams and has led impactful organizational initiatives earning her company-wide recognition and awards for her efforts.
Archana holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from Concordia University, John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor of Science, Physiology from McGill University.
